■ Introduction
  The Department of Global Education is a customized graduate program designed for foreigners interested in Korean education and culture to deeply explore and experience first-hand the core of Korean education. Students will develop into professional global education leaders who will co-shape the future of education by establishing a multicultural perspective on education within the context of Korea's unique educational philosophy, policies, and cultural context. 

■ Career Opportunities
  Graduates of the Global Education program can develop the following career paths based on their deep understanding of Korean education and culture in their home countries.

 ○ International Education Specialist : Design and operate programs that apply Korean educational methodologies to improve local education by incorporating Korean educational models and policies into the education system of their home country.
 ○ Education consultant and researcher : Educational professionals with a global perspective who conduct cross-cultural or comparative education research and advise on education policy
 ○ Korean language education and cultural education specialist : Work as an educator in an institution or program that teaches Korean language and culture, developing Korean language education curriculum or contributing to the spread of Korean culture
○ Activists in international non-profit and NGO organizations : work in international education, cultural exchange, and youth education programs in your home country, promoting educational exchange and cooperation between Korea and your home country
Human resource development and training personnel in multinational companies: As a talent who understands the Korean education system and culture, plan and operate collaborative programs with Korea and other Asian regions in global companies

■ Dissertation Eligibility
-Common: Eligible after passing three comprehensive exams
-Domestic: Foreign language test or TOEIC (700), TOEFL IBT (72), New TEPS (326) or above
-Foreigners: TOPIK level 4 or higher or at least one semester of Korean language classes before graduation
